Just bring the dinosaur to life in your own backyard!

Iguanodon dinosaurs

Iguanodons are an advanced form of the ornithopods dinosaurs. While primitive ornithopods were bipedal and relatively small, more advanced members of the Iguanodon subgroup became quadrupedal and developed a large body size. The Iguanodon species has left three-toed footprints and even a tail-trail as they moved in herds over the lands that are now the Clayton Lake State Park in New Mexico.

The Dinosaurs of Clayton Lake State Park

Clayton Lake State Park is one of North America’s most impressive dinosaur track sites, featuring over 500 fossilized footprints from dinosaurs that walked through a prehistoric mudflat 100 million years ago. These tracks include Ornithopods (in particular the Iguanodon species), the fast-moving carnivorous Theropods, and larger rounder tracks suggests some Sauropod presence. Paleontologists believe these footprints were left along an ancient shoreline, capturing a rare moment in time:

“The tracks at Clayton Lake provide incredible evidence of how dinosaurs moved, hunted, and lived in the Cretaceous period.”

— Dr. Spencer Lucas, Paleontologist

With this AR experience, you can stand beside a full-size Iguanodon dinosaur that once left these tracks and witness America's prehistory come to life.
